Our Vision
To build well-rounded, Christ-centered students able to stand firm in an ever-changing
world. Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the
word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15
Our Mission Statement
To teach Christ-centered principles while providing academic
excellence in order to carry out the Great Commission and the Great Commandment. The Great Commission: Go ye therefore,
and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe
all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Matthew 28:19-20; The Great Commandment: Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and
with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto
it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Matthew 22:37-39

Philosophy of Christian Education
The philosophy of Christian education of UCS is based upon
the following presuppositions:
- Life is recognized as having
a design and purpose: People are to live life as a response to the Savior-Creator, enjoying Him and endeavoring to please
Him through doing justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with Him. Christian education recognizes that just as no
person is complete apart from the spiritual life available through faith in Jesus Christ, neither is an education complete
that focuses only on the improvement of the mind and body and neglects the spiritual dimensions of a student. Christian
education deals with the development of the student's intellect, emotion and will. Because each person is entrusted
with moral choice, true education must include teaching moral absolutes that are necessary for making decisions which are
right in God's sight.
- Education includes the process of communicating
knowledge: For the Christian, the source of all knowledge and truth is God, and revelation of His truth is found in His Word,
the Bible. The Word of God is the foundation of the school curriculum. Through the Bible, the interrelatedness
of all other subject and truths is made possible.
- A Christian
teacher's lifestyle must be exemplary: The reality of a teacher's personal conversion should empower him/her to be a godly
role model for all students. The Christian teacher is to be a student's guide and resource person, teaching according
to educational principles contained in the Word of God.
- The
parents are responsible before God: Parents are ultimately responsible before God for the education of their children in the
home, in the school, and in the church. The home is the center of education and is never replaced by the school.
The school exists to support the home and church.
Statement of Faith
- BIBLE: We believe that the Holy Bible is the written Word of the living God, inspired
by the Holy Spirit and recorded by Holy Men of old. It is infallible in content, will remain eternally, and is the supreme
standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions should be tried.
- GOD: We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- DEITY OF CHRIST: We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin
birth in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection,
in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
- MAN: We believe that man in his natural state is a sinner, lost undone, without home, and without God.
- SALVATION: We believe that the terms of salvation are repentance toward God for
sin in a personal heartfelt belief in the Lord Jesus Christ, which results in the new birth of a person. This salvation
is entirely by the grace of our Lord and not of works.
- BLOOD
ATONEMENT: We believe in the saving power through thte blood of Jesus and His imputed righteousness.
- ASCENSION: We believe that Jesus Christ ascended to the Father and is presently
engaged in building a place for us in Heaven and is interceding for the saints.
- SECOND COMING: We believe in the visible, bodily return of Jesus Christ to this earth.
- HEAVEN AND HELL: We believe that heaven and hell are definite places.
- BODY OF CHRIST: We believe the Body of Christ is made up of all who have been born again into the Kingdom of ministries
as to their work, calling, and locality as directed by the Holy Spirit.
- HOLY SPIRIT: We believe the Holy Spirit to be the thrid person of the Trinity whose purpose in the redemption of
men is to convict of sin, regenerate the repentant believer, guide the believer into al ltruth, indwell and give gifts to
believers as He will so that they may minister as Christ would to us.
