March 2016

 Dear UCS Parents,                                               March 2016

Wisdom ~ Viewing life from God’s perspective.

You, as parents, are to be commended. In choosing a Classical Christian education for your children, you are helping them to view life from God’s perspective. In the biblical sense, this is true wisdom, and something we seldom find in today’s world.

CS Lewis wrote, “Education without values, as useful as it is, seems rather to make man a more clever devil.” In other words, when we think we can teach well, without including teaching on moral values, we handicap our students, and even create a dangerous situation in which they simply become better equipped to sin, although smartly.

As we enter the fourth quarter, we are thankful for a year of learning in which we are able to impart true education, involving the teaching of God’s truth, goodness and the beauty of His eternal story.

As we celebrate Resurrection Sunday, we are reminded again of how the Son of God chose to give His life for the sins of man. May this Resurrection Day be a time of deep remembrance as we celebrate our Risen Savior.

Soli Deo Gloria! To God be the Glory!
